Digital Communications and Data Insights Intern

Location: Remote
Hours: 12 hours per week (flexible, with consistent weekly availability expected)

Job Summary:
The Digital Communications and Data Insights Intern will support the Fulbright Association’s external communications and marketing efforts through content creation, digital analytics, and database support. This internship offers practical experience in social media strategy, email marketing, and communications data analysis—ideal for students interested in digital storytelling, nonprofit communications, or audience engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, draft, and schedule content for the Association’s social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter/X, Instagram, LinkedIn)
- Track and analyze social media and email performance using built-in platform tools and dashboards
- Support the creation and distribution of monthly email newsletters and member updates
- Assist with routine data entry, cleanup, and basic database maintenance
- Collaborate with the communications team on campaign planning, digital toolkits, and branding projects
Qualifications:
- Current undergraduate student or individual with entry-level experience in communications, digital marketing, journalism, or data analysis
- Strong writing skills and familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter/X)
- Basic understanding of analytics tools (e.g., Meta Insights, Google Analytics, or email reporting dashboards)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Detail-oriented, curious, and eager to learn in a collaborative remote environment
- Preferred: Familiarity with tools like Canva, Mailchimp, or basic website editors (e.g., WordPress)
