Athletics Creative Photographer
The Texas State Athletics Marketing & Fan Engagement Department is seeking outgoing and highly-motivated individuals to serve as street team ambassadors for Texas State Athletics. The office is seeking to build a team of 10-12 students.
Description
The TXST Athletics Street Team is a dynamic group of passionate and outgoing Texas State University students committed to promoting Bobcat pride and elevating the game day experience. As official Athletics Ambassadors, Street Team members serve as the front line of fan engagement, spreading excitement across campus, San Marcos, and surrounding communities including South Austin, Kyle, Buda, New Braunfels, and Northwest San Antonio.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Promote upcoming TXST athletic events by engaging directly with local communities and campus groups
- Represent TXST Athletics at home games, pep rallies, tailgates, and campus-wide events
- Create memorable fan interactions through engaging, hands-on promotions and giveaways on game day
- Assist with campus and community outreach efforts to boost awareness and attendance at athletic events
- Support the setup and breakdown of marketing materials, fan experience stations, and promotional zones
- Participate in front-of-house duties on game day, including greeting fans, activating giveaways, and energizing the crowd
Minimum Requirements
- Energetic, dependable, and outgoing students who love connecting with people
- Proud Bobcats who are passionate about TXST and college sports
- Students willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends for events and game days
- No prior experience required—just bring your school spirit and enthusiasm!
