Student Office Assistant - Summer 2025 Work Study

*We cannot hire Health Professions students.

Job Description:

  • Purpose: To aid the College of Health Professions Advising Center Staff with daily tasks and responsibilities.
  • Essential Duties: Student must be able to type, schedule appointments, answer phones, operate computers, run errands, greet anyone who walks in the door, file in alphabetical order, multitask, and other duties as assigned. Must be professional, dependable, and ready to work as a team. Due to confidentiality of students’ records, we are unable to hire Health Professions majors.

Qualifications:

  • You MUST be awarded work study funds by the Financial Aid Office to be eligible to apply for this position.
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Well organized
  • Must be able to interact politely and professionally with students, parents, University personnel, and the general public

This position is only guaranteed for Summer 2025, as our office has not yet been awarded student worker positions for Fall 2025.

Employee evaluation process:

Student employees' work performances are evaluated on an annual basis against the duties and expectations provided by their direct supervisor. 

Payrate Determination:

All student workers are hired at the same pay ($10/hr). If the student worker continues to work with the office for additional semesters, pay rate is increased on a yearly basis.
