Student Employee - Campus Recreation

NOTE: THIS IS FOR THE TEXAS STATE ROUND ROCK CAMPUS

This job is for the Fall (Aug to Dec) semester:

• Student employees must maintain enrollment for at least six semester credit hours in the fall semester unless the student is in the last semester of enrollment prior to graduation. Course enrollment during the summer is not necessary

Basic Duties:

• Serve customers in-person and over the telephone at the front desk
• Assist with some events with either Campus Recreation and/or Student Success
• Supervise patrons and enforce policies throughout the Rec Center
• Assist with the daily cleaning and disinfecting
• Re-rack weights
• Equipment checkout
• Fill-out incident/accident reports
• Help repair broken equipment

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum 2.0 GPA
• Flexible to work shifts between 7am and 8pm
• Able to work some Sundays
• First Aid, CPR & AED certified within six weeks of hire

Direct Supervisor - Coordinator of Campus Recreation Round Rock Campus

Pay Determination - $10.00 USD per hour

Employee Evaluations will occur each semester and will be based on NACE Competencies and Job Specific growth and development
