Water Surface Management Program Coordinator

LCRA Water Surface Management (WSM) Team is seeking an enthusiastic and customer focused program coordinator to provide safety and access on our beautiful lakes while also maintaining their pristine water quality through the implementation of standards and ordinances. You will be trusted to:

- Assist with implementation and administration of various water surface management programs, such as the Highland Lakes Marina Ordinance (HLMO) and the Highland Lakes Residential Dock Safety Standards Program (RDSP).
- Support other staff, related to inspections of marinas and docks. Learn to perform technical construction plan reviews and gain knowledge and experience with electrical, fuel and wastewater systems in a marine environment.
- Provide basic guidance on WSM permitting and support to tracking and coordination of permitting activities, alerting higher level staff of situations which require coordination with local government officials.
- Coordinate billing and fee changes for annual marina permit fees with appropriate internal billing resources.
- Document and communicate WSM program activities and key metrics through appropriate communications and record keeping practices. Assist with developing and delivering various reports and presentations to management and other stakeholders such as the general public and city, county and state government officials. Prepare correspondence related to inspections and enforcement.
- Perform work by traveling independently or with other staff to various locations as scheduled.

You qualify with:

- A degree(s) in construction, engineering or relevant field (may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience) OR
- Four or more years of experience in construction, engineering, marine recreation, planning, or other relevant experience.
- Driver's license

You are a great fit with:

- Bachelor's or higher level degree in construction, engineering or relevant field.
- Experience in marine recreation.

Salary Range:

$26.52/hour-$32.42/hour

This pay range represents a general target and is not reflective of the full pay range.  Offers to selected candidates are contingent upon various factors such as skills, experience and education.
