Math Department Undergraduate Instructional Assistant
Join the Texas State Math Department as an Undergraduate Instructional Assistant (UIA)!
The Texas State Math Department is hiring undergraduate students for various positions, including Undergraduate Instructional Assistant (UIA). This ad focuses specifically on UIA roles. To qualify for an UIA position, applicants MUST HAVE successfully completed Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Calculus II and one additional upper-level math course.

UIA Responsibilities:
- Grade student homework and quizzes accurately and consistently.
- Work closely with the course instructor.
- Maintain confidentiality of student information and sign a Confidentiality Agreement.
- Create syllabus (from forum template), facilitate coordinating lab (3 hours), write quizzes, hold office hours (3 hours per week), grading, planning, and tutoring.
Important Details:
- Maximum of 10-12 hours per week.
