Counter/Cashier

Counter Staff Pay rate $12-14 per hour

Rockin’ R Tubing Outfitters, is Gruene and New Braunfels best outfitter located on the Comal and Guadalupe Rivers in Texas that provides a fun day on the river while focusing on safety and keeping the river as clean as possible.  Rockin’ R is a dynamic and growing outdoor recreational business that specializes in providing exceptional outdoor experiences.

Rockin’ R is looking for a talented Customer-Facing Counter Staff representative to support clients in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Our Counter staff are empowered and expected to deliver the best possible support to our clients. Qualified candidates willingly adapt to change in the work environment, advocate for the customer and have previous experience in customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Excellent communication skills in English (Spanish is a plus)
• Ability to communicate correctly and clearly with all customers 
• Good comprehension skills – ability to clearly understand and state the

issues customers present

• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Ability to successfully adapt to changes in work environment
• Contribute to a positive team environment with a focus on customer 

satisfaction

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our outdoor offerings, including special 

events and promotions

• Work closely with the managers, and outdoor team to ensure a seamless 

customer experience

• Address and resolve customer complaints or issues with patience and 

empathy

• Collect customer feedback and suggest improvements to our services or 

activities

Qualifications and duties:

Cashier and data entry of customers in Point Of Sale checkout system, sell

 retail items

Collect keys and drivers license for each group/ and returned to name on

 contract

Confirmation that waivers are signed in reservation system

Helping maintain and check that restrooms are in clean and working order.

Monitor parking areas for trash and cleaning as required

General age requirements 17+ years of age (can be younger in specific cases)

Share knowledge of the river and give suggestions to customers

Other duties as assigned by management
