Student Program Coordinator
The Student Program Coordinator position is a semester-long term with potential to renew at the discretion of the office. It is a $10 per hour with a 15 hour weekly commitment (hours flexible based on student’s schedule and office needs) within the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life (FSL) at Texas State University and reports directly to the Admin of Fraternity and Sorority Life and works with all FSL professional staff. The Student Program Coordinator will work to advance the FSL mission of supporting student development in a learning-centered environment that connects individual, organizational, and community experiences through values-based decision-making. The Student Program Coordinator will assist in a variety of administrative projects and help contribute to the FSL strategic plan and annual goals. At the end of the semester, the Student Program Coordinator will meet with their supervisor to discuss their experience and performance.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Assist in developing and editing content for office programs, such as flyers and brochures;
Manage the FSL Instagram account by posting, engaging, and sharing FSL and all four Councils' content.
Assist with research, maintaining, and archiving of FSL history at Texas State University.
Assist with maintaining the Bobcat Organization Hub chapter rosters and events for the 4 councils and office.
Assist with campus outreach including but not limited to: tabling, presentations for New Student Orientation, Bobcat Day, Family Weekend and more.
Assist in administrative projects across the FSL programming efforts.
Lead planning committees for major office events such as Philanthropy Week and Hazing Prevention Week.
Monitor office communications such as email, phone calls, and walk-ins
