2025 Internship Program:
We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic interns to join our Corporate Internship Program located at the Cinemark Service Center in Plano, TX.
This program offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience within an inclusive and collaborative environment. As an Intern, you will work closely with a professional mentor, contribute to meaningful projects, and gain valuable insights into the corporate world.
This is a 10-week paid learning experience from June 2nd to August 8th, offering $15.00 per hour. Interns will follow a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) and will work 40 hours per week during standard business hours.
The role of an E-Commerce Merchandising Intern:
Join our dynamic and growing Merchandising team at Cinemark! As an E-Commerce Merchandising Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of merchandising, from planning and buying, to market analysis, and product development. This is a unique opportunity to learn about the life of a Buyer and Merchant in an evolving team within a well-established company.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct a comprehensive evaluation of the current merchandising practices
- Assist the Director, Food & Beverage and Director, Movie Merchandising with preparing allocation lists
- Perform a competitive market analysis and present recommendations for best practices to improve visual merchandising and guest engagement
- Contribute to the product development process by participating in buying discussions and providing creative ideas for upcoming films
- Generate weekly merchandise sell-through reports, analyzing theatre-level and regional performance using Power BI and Microsoft Excel
- Collaborate with Operations, Communications, and Marketing to ensure strategic alignment and a seamless execution to the field
Requirements:
- Current Junior or Senior enrolled at an accredited university
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Retail Management, or related fields
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Excellent interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Passionate about the magic of movies and the film industry
- Analytically driven, with a knack for creativity and innovation
- Eager to contribute and competitive by nature
