Athletics Ticket Office Assistant - WORK STUDY

The Texas State Athletic Ticket Office is looking to hire energetic, self-motivated, and detail-oriented students with great customer service skills to serve as an office assistant in our athletic ticket office. Candidates will answer phones, perform general office functions, and sell tickets to inbound customers via phone and in-person sales during business hours and at events. Successful candidates will start training in office upon completion of hiring process.

Qualifications:

Must be able to work games and events, including all 6 home football games, as well as select men’s and women’s basketball, and volleyball games that will occur on weeknights and weekends.

Good communication and problem-solving skills are essential. Candidates must also be reliable, organized, and adaptable, as well as showcase proper customer-service etiquette. A desire to gain experience in athletic ticket sales and the business side of athletics is a plus.

The ideal candidates will have a flexible schedule and able to work at least four hours per shift during business hours and varying shifts during events.

REQUIREMENTS: Student must provide proof of their Work Study Award for the fall semester to be considered.
