Athletic Grounds Maintenance

The Texas State Athletic Department is looking for some students to work with the grounds maintenance crew. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, setting up for special events, maintaining the softball and baseball fields, and any other tasks that help preserve the state and appearance of all athletic buildings and fields. The majority of the work will be outdoors maintaining Athletic facilities. Applicants will be required to work some nights and weekends. There can be some flexibility with the schedule.

Must be able to work outdoors (Texas Environment) in a deadline-oriented sports environment and able to lift approximately 50 pounds.

• Direct Supervisor - Matthew Taylor
• Employee evaluation process - Daily Supervision by Supervisor
• Payrate Determination - $10 starting pay, and can improve depending on work experience &/or performance
