Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Development Intern to join our dynamic US team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sustainability consulting, business development, and sales strategy execution within a fast-growing global company. As a Business Development Intern, you will support our US team by assisting with a variety of tasks, including the creation of client materials, conducting market research to identify new business opportunities, and developing insights into key trends within the sustainability and real estate sectors. Additionally, you will contribute to internal projects aimed at enhancing our business development processes and tracking key sales metrics. This position will allow you to work closely with experienced professionals, gaining valuable skills and knowledge that will help you build a strong foundation for a career in sustainability and business development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Market Research: Conduct research on potential clients, market trends, competitors and industry developments to identify new business opportunities.
• Lead Generation: Assist in the development and management of a robust pipeline of qualified leads, including outreach to prospective clients through various channels (email, LinkedIn, etc.).
• Sales Support: Collaborate with the Business Development team to prepare proposals, presentations, and pitch materials for client meetings.
• CRM Management: Update and maintain the CRM system (HubSpot) with accurate and up-to-date information on leads, contacts, and ongoing opportunities.
• Content Development: Assist in the creation of marketing collateral, case studies, and other sales materials to support business development efforts.
• Event Coordination: Support the planning and execution of industry events, webinars, and other networking opportunities to enhance Longevity Partners’ visibility and engagement within the market.
• Data Analysis: Analyze sales data and metrics to provide insights and recommendations for improving our business development strategy.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sustainability consultants and marketing, to ensure alignment of business development efforts with overall company goals.
Qualifications:
• Currently in final year or recently completed an undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Passionate about sustainability and eager to learn about the real estate industry.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize information and present it clearly.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with CRM systems, particularly HubSpot, is a plus.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
