Manager of Community Partnerships

Position Summary: 

The Manager of Community Partnerships is responsible for creating and overseeing strategic partnerships with local community organizations, businesses, and local coalitions, while also serving as the primary contact for the Ready Families Collaborative (RFC), funded by Austin Public Health and involving seven non-profit organizations providing services in Austin, Texas. We are seeking a dynamic individual with strong organizational and interpersonal skills to manage partner relations, ensure compliance with funding and contract requirements, engage in community initiatives, and lead advocacy efforts for the Ready Family Collaborative.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish new strategic partnerships with community organizations, businesses, and other stakeholders to advance Any Baby Can’s mission and strategic goals.
  • Develop and manage new and ongoing relationships with partner organizations to support collective work towards shared goals, s through coalitions, grants, and formal and/or informal partnerships.
  • Actively participate in community coalitions to represent Any Baby Can and contribute to collective impact initiatives.
  • Serve as the primary contact for the RFC, managing all contractual, reporting, and programmatic functions, ensuring alignment with funding requirements and contractual obligations.
  • Conduct quarterly collaborative meetings with RFC funded partners to foster communication, share best practices, and address challenges.
  • Complete and submit timely quarterly performance reports to RFC funder.
  • Conduct annual monitoring visits for each funded RFC partner to evaluate performance and ensure adherence to contractual agreements.
  • Oversee Any Baby Can's Parent Advisory Committee (PAC), including recruitment, meeting facilitation, and engagement of PAC members. Serve as the primary point of contact between the PAC and agency.
  • Supervise community outreach staff, volunteer parent advocates, and interns.
  • Other assignments may be added as needed or required.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Social Work, Public Health, Communications, etc.) with at least 2-3 years of relevant experience in community partnerships and program management. 
  • Strong understanding of fiscal and programmatic compliance within the non-profit and government sector.
  • Capable of working independently and within collaborative team environments.
  • Exceptional relationship management skills with demonstrated ability to manage and expand partnerships.
  • Strong project management skills required; attention to detail and strong organizational skills required.
  • Proficient in facilitation and public speaking skills.
  • Knowledge of community resources and social services in the Austin area.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite; ability to quickly learn and adopt new technology and software.

 

Special Considerations: 

  • Must have reliable transportation to travel within the assigned region; if driving own vehicle, must have valid driver’s license and current vehicle insurance.
  • Ability to work occasional weekends and evenings, as needed
  • Ability to sit, stand, kneel as necessary to fulfill daily duties assigned.
  • Ability to communicate effectively/clearly.
