Alkek Library – Ask Desk Student Worker – Regular Wage

The Ask Desk at the Alkek Library is looking to hire student workers for the Fall 2024 semester. Student workers at the Ask Desk are responsible for checking materials in and out, answering a broad range of questions regarding the library and the university, providing basic troubleshooting for computers and printers, and other related duties.

Ideal candidates will have strong customer service skills, communication skills, and basic research abilities. They will be capable of working independently of direct supervision. Previous library experience (volunteer or otherwise) is a plus but not required.
