Painter - Seasonal Student Worker

Student Painting Crew -Experience preferred. In addition to painting duties, may work in warehouse or assist in other facilities maintenance areas. Position requires extensive physical activity. No weekends or hours outside of 8  to 5 ( 7:30am to  4:30pm during summer) required.   Students not enrolled in classes for summer sessions can work full time after May 9,2024.   Flexible scheduling available for those enrolled in summer classes.   

Duties and Responsibilities:

1.   Preparing interior walls and other surfaces for painting by scraping, using sandpaper, removing old paint etc.

2.   Use equipment and supplies to cover furniture and protect flooring

3.   Paint various surfaces with rollers and brushes

4.   Ability to work with a team effectively to finish work in timely and effective manner    

5.   May perform general maintenance, custodial, and trash removal tasks.

6.   Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
