Summer Resident Assistant (SRA) Summer 2024

The Summer Resident Assistant (SRA) is a student leadership position that serves as a representative of the Department of Housing and Residential Life. SRAs provide a welcoming environment for students who will be living in the residents halls while taking summer courses at the University. SRAs will assist with tasks that include but are not limited to the following: building community within the hall and on their floor, completing administrative tasks to ensure the hall is operating smoothly, and serving in an on-call rotation.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in Spring 2024 courses at Texas State University.
  • Enrolled for Fall 2024 courses at Texas State University
  • Current minimum overall GPA of 2.5
  • Available to work from May 14, 2024, to August 7, 2024
  • Students may hold additional summer employment on or off-campus with approval from supervisor or register for summer classes.
  • The position will be approximately 20 hours a week.
  • Students must be in good academic, financial, and disciplinary standing with Texas State University
  • Fall 2024 Resident Assistants are welcome to apply.

Compensation/Benefits:

  • Summer room and board are included in the compensation.
  • Students must live on campus for the duration of the position.
  • Monthly stipend and meal plan included in compensation package.
