Paralegal

We are seeking Paralegal Interns to become a part of our team! This candidate should be organized, professional, responsible, capable of working with limited supervision, and committed to helping us meet all our clients' needs. This person must be a team player with a friendly attitude, self-motivated, and able to keep up at a fast pace. Personal Injury Paralegal experience preferred.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Maintains and organizes client files
  • Request and maintain medical affidavits
  • Request, confirm, and maintain medical records
  • Drafts, prepares, reviews, and edits appropriate legal documents
  • Draft correspondence to opposing counsel and to the court, as well as file documents with the courts
  • Maintain complex filing system; E-filing and hard filing of documents
  • Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Preferred: Filevine Experience
  • Bilingual in English & Spanish
  • Knowledge of general office practices;
  • Skilled in handling multiple tasks, prioritizing, and meeting deadlines;
  • Skilled in effective oral and written communication;
  • Skilled in exercising sound judgment and effective decision-making;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

  • Paid position - Starting at $18/hr
