INTERN INTERIOR DESIGNERS

Lucinda Loya Interiors is pursuing the brightest and most talented minds to be part of our growing firm. LLI is seeking Intern Interior Designers to play a key role in developing construction documentation and interior furnishings from concept to completion for our diverse clientele. We are on the hunt for eager individuals to be part of our dynamic organization with:

Responsibilities

• To work on projects from all phases of design through installment, including but not limited to: CAD drawings, budgeting, sourcing, procurement, scheduling, and negotiating.

• Assist Designer with Product material research & presentation preparations

• Communicating with vendors to order samples and schedule product meetings

• Maintain design library

• Assist Designer on site measurements & preparing floor plans & elevations in CAD for Project submittals

• Miscellaneous general office / Administrative tasks

• Attend job sites visits or participate in photo shoot

Qualifications

• Provide design support and administration during completion and execution of design concepts.

• Source and work with outside vendors to procure and coordinate all furniture, fixtures, & accessories.

• The ideal candidate is reliable, motivated, upbeat and resourceful with a professional attitude and willingness to learn

• Must be familiar with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office

• Successful Interns will possess the creativity, curiosity, motivation, and skills necessary to create conceptual models and advance design ideas with a team

• Working towards an Interior Design degree from an accredited institution

• Please note: We are looking for someone who is currently pursuing an Interior Design degree from an accredited school
