  1. Job Title: Civil Engineer (GS 5, 7, 9, 11, 12, 13)
  2. We need civil engineers across a wide spectrum of experience. Ideally, we want people who have experience and/or a desire to focus on civil works projects such as dams, levees, coastal and streambank erosion, and ecosystem restoration projects. We prefer engineers who have experience performing quantity calculations of earth and rock. We also prefer engineers who know how and have experience using one or more of the following types of CADD software: AutoCAD, Civil 3-D, Microstation, InRoads, OpenRoads.
  3. A bachelor’s degree in engineering. Preferably a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (Or any related field of civil such as Architectural, Environmental, Geotechnical, Structural, Transportation, or Ocean Engineering).
  4. Certification: None for GS 5-11 positions. P.E. (Professional Engineer License) is preferable for GS-12, but experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis. A P.E. is necessary for GS-13.
  5. College graduates will be considered for GS-5-11. At least 4 years of experience is desired for GS-12-13.
  6. U.S Citizenship required.
