Technical Sales Specialist Co-op (Admixtures)
The Opportunity
As a Concrete Industry Technical Specialist Co-op you will collaborate with respective teams and product lines to shadow and work alongside our technical and commercial teams. These positions can lead into either technical support positions and/or commercial technical sales opportunities.
- Support the process to provide technical assistance to the respective product line, including but not limited to clients, on-site support, hands-on training, and technical presentations.
- Support bid offering preparation process.
- Assist with preparing technical recommendations and/or assist/write proprietary specifications.
- Assist in managing all product sales and site support.
- Visit large job-sites job sites for the purpose of trouble shooting, recommendations, or training.
- Attend and collaborate in training customers about technical matters concerning the products.
- Assist with field trials, competitive analysis, and special projects.
- Support laboratory work on projects.
The Program Details
- Fulltime, 40 hours per week.
- 6 months in duration.
- Start in early June through Dec, annually.
- 3 Rotations: (a) 2 months Laboratory Technical training, (b) 3.5 months field work to with the commercial teams, (c) 2 weeks onsite in Milan Corporate Office with the MAPEI global teams
