Special Reach College Intern Description

Position: Special Reach College Intern
Job Type: Non-Exempt, Part-time Internship
Reports to: Program Coordinator

General Description: Assists in the implementation and maintenance of programs. Support Special Reach team members in the assistance of clients; Maintains records and program materials; Assist in other administrative and fundraising tasks. A successful candidate must pass a background check.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Maintains spreadsheets and files utilizing various computer software for organizational
• Follow-up, document and expedite actions internally and with clients and vendors when required
for the successful execution of organizational mission.
• Assist with registration process for Special Reach programs and events, including participant, staff,
and volunteer applications, data entry, scheduling, etc.
• Attend programs and events (including resource fairs) for administrative and hands-on assistance
including some night and weekend events.
• Prepares for all programs and events including, but not limited to, errands, preparing participants,
staff and volunteer rosters, preparing supply bins, inventory of items from storage unit, etc.,
setting up/breaking down at events, assisting with volunteer assignments, and fundraising.
• Compliance of established Special Reach standards, policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to perform all required job tasks in a climate-controlled office and outdoors exposed
to changing weather conditions.
• Must be able to lift and move up to 40lbs.

Compensation: Non-Exempt, $15/hour
