Plans Examiner

Under the direction of the Development Services Manager and/or designee, the incumbent is responsible for performing skilled work reviewing commercial and residential plans, blueprints, construction documents, specifications, and/or details submitted electronically for new construction, remodels, additions, moving, or demolition of structures to ensure compliance with building/construction codes, zoning ordinances, other related City ordinances, State and Federal rules and regulations. Performance of duties requires the ability to work with confidential information, requires initiative, and tact.
