About this Job

This position requires computer experience to perform both electronic and paper filing; preferably some knowledge/experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe PDF.  Scanning files and record retention duties will be performed.  Assistance with shredding confidential information will also be performed in this position.  Additional office duties may be included, as the student’s experience progresses especially with additional computer databases, programs and mailouts.  A confidentiality agreement will be mandatory to sign with the department.  Training will be provided.  Must be approved in the student work study program.

Gift Compliance department is committed to stewarding donor gifts that are provided to continue the growth/mission of the university and supporting students.  Gift Compliance provides assistance with preparing gift agreements with gift officers to present to donors/alumni who are considering a long-term relationship with Texas State.  In addition, Gift Compliance which provides endowment information to colleges/departments with distribution amounts each year that can be spent from the endowments and ensure that colleges/departments are spending funds within compliance standards that have been established.
