Event Staff/ Guest Services - Austin and San Marcos, TX
If you are looking for a fun weekend or evening side hustle, Stadium People is hiring! We're looking for energetic and guest-friendly staff to help welcome Bobcat Fans to San Marcos on game days. This will mark the 11th season for Stadium People at Texas State. Event staff jobs pay $13 per hour, and are a lot of fun. You'd work as a ticket scanner, usher, bag checker, wayfinder, ADA support, or access control. We will be cross training a lot of the staff to do multiple jobs, so you'll learn a lot along the way. Great side job for people with flexible schedules, especially students at Texas State.
Requirements for this job:
- Be friendly, nice, and helpful to fans coming to the games.
- Must be able to work outside in the elements.
- Learn as much as you can about the Stadium and where important locations are, (First Aid, Lost and Found, Guest Services, ATM, Restrooms, Ticket offices, etc.)
- Be able to able to climb stairs, walk to and from shuttle drop locations and around the stadium.
- Clean criminal background, (no felonies in last 10 years, no misdemeanors in last 5 years.)
