Work Study Student Worker - Summer 2023
The responsibilities for this Student Office Assistant position include the following:
- Provide Front/Main OWLS Office coverage to include opening/closing duties, reception duties to include answering main office line and once trained will answer questions about our programs by phone, transfer calls when needed or take messages, and greet visitors - Must be dependable!
- Prefer for Student Office Assistant to work a minimum of 12 hours per work but can work up to 25 hours per week while enrolled in classes; Can work up to 40 hours per week during any summer term not enrolled in class
- Would like for candidate to have experience using Microsoft Word and Excel and have some working knowledge of using Microsoft Teams for Chat and able to save files
- Use of copy machine to make copies and scan documents
- File, sort, create labels, update student worker calendar in Microsoft Teams
- Will be trained to assist with social media and website maintenance
- Assist with inventory management and restocking of kitchen and office supplies
- Will be asked to gather and organize promotional material/swag for events
- Deliver documents to other campus offices when needed
- Other duties as assigned
**Must be approved for Work Study funding & strong possibility of continuing in this position during future semesters if Work Study funds are available**
