Sales Engineer (Leadership Development Program)

We are currently recruiting for a Sales Engineer who is interested in participating in our paid Leadership Development Program. We are looking for recent grad students who have obtained their bachelors degree or will be graduating with their bachelors for: Summer 2022, Fall 2022, Spring 2023 or Summer 2023

As Sales Engineer, you will experience an accelerated rotational sales engineering program with the ultimate goal on learning Thermon's Industrial Process Heating Solutions with the expectation to become a Sales Manager with direct sales responsibilities. This role will based out of Houston, Texas (near Hobby Airport) 8880 Telephone Rd, Houston, TX 77061.

In this role, you will make an impact in our company by
Complete our rotational assignment and on the job hands-on training within departments/functions as planned (example departments/functions: Engineering & Design, Research & Development, Manufacturing, Construction, Sales and Estimation).
  • Acquire solid knowledge of our engineering applicable codes, standards, specifications, safety culture, operation and construction processes.
  • Comply with necessary internal or external trainings and learn various tasks within function/departments.
  • Work under the direction and mentoring of one or more leaders simultaneously.
  • Embrace Thermon's internal software, systems, processes, procedures for handling our business.
  • Master the art of conducting Thermon's Sales and become a sales advocate of Thermon's products, service and overall value proposition and solutions offer to our customers.
  • Prepare and conduct presentations as per assigned mentor requirement.
  • Collaborate with other functions as needed.
  • Visiting Industrial Petrochemical facilities, climbing stairs and ladders, driving/flying to job other offices or sites as required.
  • Travel by 20% during Graduate Sales Engineer Program - subject to change as per company and training needs.
  • Any other activities as required for the completion of the rotational sales engineer program.
