THE ROLE
AMD’s Strategic Silicon Solutions group is responsible for custom silicon for advanced gaming platforms such as XBOX, PlayStation, and Steam Deck. The team analyzes the data and provides feedback to manufacturing, software development, architects, and business development to facilitate decisions to ensure devices meet the desired specifications and to make decisions about future product directions.
The Power and Performance Optimization (PPO) team is looking for an engineering intern to help enhance its test automation and data analysis capabilities. You will see the direct results of your efforts in consumer products you and your friends use and enjoy every day.
PPO team members have opportunities to learn about system architecture and manufacturing processes along with how different platform features work together to impact power and performance.
The work is onsite in Austin, Texas.
