Human Resources, Talent & Culture Intern - Summer 2022

You will be part of the NXP Global Talent and Culture team that is responsible for the management and oversight of enterprise spanning Talent and Culture initiatives, as well as Learning and Development solutions, designed to build organizational capability, engagement, and effectiveness. As an intern on our team, you will gain exposure and experience in key areas of Talent and Culture: delivery of training programs, implementation of our new learning management system (LMS), change management efforts, and other related areas of practice.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Support the delivery of training events on various talent development topics
  • Assist with the management of training materials: content curation, review/revision, and provide feedback
  • Support with session logistics: calendar management, respond to participant inquiries, review course evaluations
  • LMS support: active project team member supporting the associated implementation, communication and change management efforts required to launch our new learning management system (Workday Learning)
  • Own, monitor, and maintain the upkeep of support tools and resources that enable Talent and Culture programs: training calendar, internal web pages, and Talent & Culture inbox
  • Support other key global HR Talent & Culture programs, as requested

Qualifications
  • Working towards an undergraduate or advanced degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Communications, Psychology or related field
  • Your current year in school is Junior or Senior
  • We will give a preference to Seniors with some formal education or prior work experience in the Talent & Culture space
  • You describe yourself as nimble, self-starter, results-oriented, collaborative, with a desire to learn more about Human Resources within the Talent & Culture space
  • You have a proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint), graphic design skills are a plus
  • You have a basic knowledge of training evaluation methodology
  • You are proficient in written and spoken English
