KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- These will be a mix of supporting, participating, driving, facilitating, managing, evaluating and measuring any of the following projects and activities that our North America Corporate Finance team are responsible for:
- Identify and lead process improvements of existing processes as assigned to reduce and minimize manual tasks to enable compliance with our overall global deadlines
- Support IT/Business Development/Global related project requests for various Finance Teams as needed
- Ownership of month end close activities including journal entry preparation, reviews of balance sheet reconciliations, and/or other close activities as needed to ensure the accuracy of the Company’s financial statements
- Support the documentation and assessment of technical accounting matters
- Support the yearly completion of the Internal Controls Testing phase with proper documentation of test results to measure the effectiveness of internal processes
- Facilitate ad hoc requests for various Finance Teams as needed
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Knowledge of accounting & controlling activities
- Advanced skills in Excel. Strongly proficient skills in Access, Word and PowerPoint.
- Desire and ability to work closely and collaboratively with members of the NAM Finance team and cross-functional business partners
- SAP experience a plus
- Detail oriented and the ability to manage multiple priorities to accomplish assignments simultaneously under tight timelines; and a high degree of accuracy are all essential
- Demonstrate a digital mindset and the ability to use different resources and digital tools to drive automation and standardization
- Strong project management and process management skills
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information in a professional manner
- Must be extremely proactive, have strong initiative and be self-motivated
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from senior executives, stakeholders and cross functional business leaders
- Must be adaptable, flexible, and able to deal with ambiguity in an ever-changing environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Excellent analytical, written, oral, organizational
QUALIFICATIONS
- Enrolled in a full-time MBA for the whole duration of the internship.
- Anticipated graduation date is between December 2022 and August 2023
- 4+ years of relevant work experience.
- Eligible to work in the US without restrictions.
- Available to participate in our full-time internship program from end of May/June to August 2022
