Talent Acquisition Work Study | Spring 2022

Overview
Gain hands-on experience through a part-time, work study opportunity with the Talent Acquisition and Inclusion team for Institutional Inclusive Excellence for Faculty and Staff Initiatives. The team is currently seeking two student workers for the fall and spring semesters. The student worker will work closely with the Talent Acquisition and Inclusion Recruiters to support the hiring process for staff positions at the university.

Key responsibilities for the fall will include:
  • Applicant customer service and support
  • Social Media content creation and management
  • Editing and formatting job postings in PeopleAdmin for recruitment advertising
  • Assist with processing actions and tasks in online database systems
  • Assist with developing marketing materials and content for Talent Acquisition events and initiatives
  • Front desk customer service to include greeting, answering phones and monitoring email inbox

Requirements
  • Ability to work 10-20 hours per week during business hours (M-F: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.) | Jan. 2 - May 12. With potential to carry over into the spring semester.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team as well as independently
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and remote communication software; Teams and Zoom
