Undergraduate Admissions Student Assistant | Fall 2021 Work Study

Undergraduate Admissions is accepting applications from students to begin in the Spring 2022 semester with the option of returning for Summer or Fall of 2022.

Individuals are needed to assist administrative personnel in the Customer Service Unit with phone calls, in a fast-paced environment.

Student must be customer service oriented, answer phones in a courteous manner, greet walk-in visitors, work independently and in a team environment with multiple interruptions, prepare email documents, open and distribute mail and perform general office duties.

Student must be open to cross-training for other admission areas and flexible to be moved to those areas on short notice. This position may require some walking to deliver documents to other buildings on campus and some light lifting.

Must MAINTAIN enrollment in at least 6 semester credit hours during the Fall and Spring semesters and have a work study award to qualify.

Student must be dependable, organize, self-motivated, a team player, flexible, professional, friendly, fast learner, punctual, and an analytical thinker. They must have excellent attention to detail, be able to take direction, accurate keyboarding/data entry skills, communicate effectively, serious work ethic, proficient in Microsoft Office and be enthusiastic about Texas State.
