Organizational Development Student Employee | Summer 2021 Work Study

Are you interested in getting hands-on experience in a professional setting? Do you want to be a part of an innovative and creative team? If you answered yes to either of those questions, then this job posting is for you! The Organization Development and Communications (ODC) team is currently seeking a student worker beginning summer 2021.   

Overview 
In this role, you will be part of the ODC team within the Office of Human Resources. Our team focuses on the development and engagement of Bobcat employees. You will have the opportunity to work closely with Human Resources professionals who are responsible for coordinating the learning and development opportunities for Texas State staff and faculty.  

WHAT YOU’LL DO: 
  • Assist with the coordination of professional courses and trainings  
  • Create participant lists   
  • Monitor courses and assist with attendance  
  • Provide course credit to participants in our data system 
  • Create survey reports  

 WE’RE LOOKING FOR TEXAS STATE BOBCAT STUDENTS WHO: 
  • Demonstrate a passion for learning, training, development, communication, education, human resources, or other related fields 
  • Have familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Zoom, Qualtrics, and/or SAP 
  • Are organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated 
  • Can comfortably collaborate in teams and work independently in a fast-pace environment 
  • Have a positive and professional demeanor   
  • Able to follow directions from staff and other student workers   
  • Like to have fun while learning and working hard  
  • Freshman or sophomore classification (preferred)
