Meadows Center IT Assistant | Summer 2021 Work Study
General Description
Responsible for providing assistance with the Meadows Center IT support and needs.
Example of Duties
Maintain and update a master inventory of computers and technology resources.
Respond promptly to provide basic IT support for networked Windows 10 computers including printer and display connections and software updates.
Use the following applications to support organizational goals: Zoom, Open Broadcaster Software, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Adobe CC Suite.
Provide limited IT support for a small range of Linux applications in embedded exhibit media systems.
Investigate and evaluate software and hardware.
Communicate well with coworkers and supervisors. Request help when needed. Contact ITAC for issues requiring outside support.
Meaningfully contribute to completion of projects through independent work.
Learn about Spring Lake and The Meadows Center’s educational goals.
Preferred qualification:
Has experience with or willingness to learn how to build and program a Raspberry Pi Camera.
