Swoon Spaces ยท Luxury Home Organization and Home Concierge

Location: Austin, Texas

Type: Freelance, booked by the session

Pay: Pay is shared during the interview.

Bringing you from chaos to calm.

Love a beautifully styled shelf, a perfectly folded stack and a closet that finally makes sense? Join Swoon Spaces as a Project Coordinator and help bring calm to beautiful homes, one session at a time. No organizing experience needed. We train you.

About Swoon Spaces

Swoon Spaces is a luxury home organization and home concierge company with teams in New York City and New Jersey, Los Angeles and Austin. We step into our clients' closets, kitchens, pantries, nurseries and every space in between, and leave behind calm, beauty and systems that last. Every session is guided by a lead organizer and supported by a small, close team.

The Role

As a Project Coordinator, you support the lead organizer, the client and the team so every session moves the project forward. You help contain the chaos, protect the client experience and keep the work moving from arrival through closeout.

What You'll Do

In the home

  • Empty drawers, shelves, cabinets and closets, then sort like with like into clear categories.
  • Keep categories clearly separated (keep, donate, trash, return and relocate), labeling temporary piles with sticky notes.
  • Fold, switch out hangers and color code under the lead's direction.
  • Unpack and prepare product, then place items and create labels once the lead approves the system.
  • Wipe surfaces before items go back, then reset the space for photos and the client walkthrough.

Behind the scenes

  • Pick up product orders from The Container Store and other approved stores.
  • Return unused product and drop off donations at approved locations.

With the team

  • Follow the lead's plan, and bring questions about product, scope, timing or client decisions to the lead.
  • Look for the next useful task the moment one is complete.
  • Represent Swoon with warmth, discretion and polish in every home.

Who You Are

  • Design minded. Inspired by aesthetics and the feeling of a beautifully finished space.
  • Detail oriented. You notice the label a hair off center and the hanger facing the wrong way.
  • Fast and focused through a full day of hands on work.
  • Ready for physical work: long days on your feet, lifting boxes, using ladders and working in tight closets.
  • Warm and discreet with clients, including in their most private spaces.
  • Able to read the room, aware of tone, body language and client energy.
  • Coachable, welcoming feedback with a calm, positive attitude.
  • Reliable: on time, prepared and polished, and quick to communicate when plans change.
  • Comfortable using Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Docs and Google Sheets) and your smartphone.

Experience in organizing, interior design, styling, home staging, visual merchandising, move management, hospitality or luxury retail is a lovely bonus, but never a requirement.

Schedule

  • Freelance and booked by the session, so you choose the sessions that fit your week.
  • Most sessions are 6 to 8 hours long.
  • Paid hourly for the sessions you book.
