Brand Ambassador

Mimi Cheng’s is looking for outgoing, reliable Brand Ambassadors to bring our dumplings and brand to life at in-store demos, tastings, events, and other activations throughout Austin. 

This is a part-time role for someone who loves food, enjoys meeting new people, and is excited to represent a growing brand.

What You’ll Do

• In-Store Demos: Represent Mimi Cheng’s at grocery stores and retail partners, preparing and serving dumpling samples and introducing customers to our products.
• Customer Engagement: Create a friendly, welcoming experience by talking with customers, answering questions, and sharing the Mimi Cheng’s story.
• Brand Representation: Be an enthusiastic and knowledgeable face of Mimi Cheng’s, making sure every interaction reflects our brand and values.
• Drive Trial & Sales: Encourage customers to try our dumplings, learn about our products, and purchase them in-store.
• Demo Setup & Breakdown: Set up cooking equipment, products, samples, and branded materials and keep your demo area clean and organized throughout the shift.
• Feedback & Recaps: Share customer feedback, photos, and a brief recap with our team after demos and events.

What We’re Looking For

• Must be 20 years of age or older.
• Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable approaching and engaging with new people.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• A passion for food and excitement about representing Mimi Cheng’s.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Comfortable preparing and serving food and following food safety guidelines.
• Able to travel to demo and event locations throughout Austin.
• Flexible availability, including some weekends.
• Previous experience in food, hospitality, retail, events, sales, or brand ambassador work is a plus, but not required.
