Internship - Laboratory Research, Oil & Gas

Internship Objectives
- Complete 2-3 laboratory research projects.
- Conduct 50+ laboratory analyses and performance evaluations.
- Deliver at least one technical presentation to leadership.
- Support development or optimization of one chemical formulation.
- Maintain zero recordable safety incidents. Submit a final technical report and recommendations.
Measurable Qualifications
- M.S. or Ph.D. student in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field preferred. Bachelors degree in related field required.
- Minimum GPA 3.0 Laboratory or research experience.
- Experience using Excel, PowerPoint.
Key Responsibilities
- Support formulation development and performance testing.
- Conduct analytical and bench-scale laboratory testing.
- Analyze data and prepare technical reports.
- Collaborate with chemists, engineers, and field personnel.
Additional Information
- 20-30 hours per week (flexible based on business needs and current courseload)
- On site at laboratory in Luling, Texas
- $30-$35/hour DOE, transportation allowance included
