Enterprise Learning Program Assistant
Enterprise Learning seeks a Work Study-eligible student with excellent customer service, communication, writing, and time management skills to fill our office's Fall Student Program Assistant position for September 1st- December 10th. This role is ideal for a student looking to gain hands-on experience in higher education administration, program coordination, and professional office operations. The assistant will work directly with CE staff to keep daily operations running smoothly and ensure a positive experience for learners and partners.
Required:
- Excellent reading, writing, and communication skills
- Ability to communicate with staff and faculty in a professional workplace
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Enrolled student with at least a 3.0 GPA
- Work Study eligibility
-If hired, applicants should expect a 19-20 hour-per-week on-site time commitment. Work hours must fall between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming phone calls and manage general departmental inquiries; route messages to appropriate staff in a timely and professional manner.
- Support the administrative assistant with TxDOT project mailings, document preparation, and similar logistics tasks.
- Perform data entry and help maintain accuracy in enrollment tracking systems, catalogs, and databases.
- Monitor and route learner inquiries submitted via email or web form to the appropriate team member.
- Provide general office support as needed.
