Event Staff - Part-Time / Temporary
EXP Design Lab is looking for friendly, dependable, and motivated individuals to join our event support team on a project-by-project basis.
This is not a consistent weekly position. Events and hours will vary based on upcoming projects, making this a great opportunity for students looking for flexible work and hands-on experience in events, marketing, hospitality, and client service.
Responsibilities May Include
- Event setup and tear down
- Managing registration and welcome tables
- Checking in attendees and guests
- Greeting and directing guests
- Assisting with valet coordination and guest arrival
- Helping vendors, clients, and event attendees as needed
- Keeping event spaces organized and presentable
- Troubleshooting small issues that come up during events
- Jumping in wherever help is needed to keep the event running smoothly
We’re Looking for Someone Who

- Enjoys working with and meeting new people
- Is friendly, kind, thoughtful, and professional
- Is dependable and shows up on time
- Is a go-getter who doesn’t need to be told every little thing that needs to be done
- Is comfortable taking initiative
- Is a good problem solver and can think on their feet
- Works well as part of a team
- Maintains a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
Previous event experience is helpful but not required. We’re happy to work with people who are eager to learn, dependable, and have the right attitude.
Schedule
This is an as-needed, temporary position. Team members will be contacted when event opportunities become available and can accept projects based on their availability. Events may take place during weekdays, evenings, or weekends.
