Duties & Responsibilities:
- Coaching and guiding students (K-8) to meet their academic goals
- Tutoring multiple subjects effectively
- Strengthening students’ study habits and identifying how each student learns best
- Motivating students who need that extra oomph
- Working with up to three students at a time
- Being engaging, nimble, and professional
- Keeping detailed records of tutoring sessions
- Attending team meetings and other Tutoring Club events
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university (or currently enrolled in a degree program leading to a bachelor’s degree)
- 1+ years of previous tutoring experience (previous teaching experience is not required, but is a plus)
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work SOME of the following: Monday through Thursday from 2:30pm to 7:30pm and Saturday from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm
- Ability to commit to one year with Tutoring Club

- Monday 3:00-8:0pm
- Tuesday 3:00-8:00pm
- Wednesday 3:00pm-8:00pm
- Thursday 3:00-8:00pm
- Saturday 9:00-1:00pm
