Description: 
The Division of Student Success is hiring a student graphic designer to help develop assets including flyers, logos, infographics, and more for departments across the division. 

The student graphic designer will be responsible for developing graphic assets for the Division of Student Success for use in marketing materials. The role will be responsible for creating, editing and following university brand guidelines within their work. 

The student graphic designer will work directly with the Director for Marketing and Communications for the Division to create compelling visuals and content to support student success events and programs. 

Qualifications: 

  • Must be currently enrolled at Texas State with a minimum overall GPA of 2.5
  • Must be proficient in Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop and other Adobe Softwares.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced, pressured environment 
  • Ability to develop program ideas into creative concepts 
  • Comfortable with large-scale display design such as facility and outdoor signage
  • Able to produce web graphics, advertising and sponsorship design
  • Must have visual organization and perception 
  • Ability to blend ideas and production techniques 
  • Market and promote various on campus events 
  • Planning and project management 
  • Must be able to communicate and take constructive feedback
  • Branding and social media experience preferred
  • Familiarity with Texas State brand guidelines
  • Must maintain enrollment in at least 6 semester credit hours
  • Must be willing to work during the summer, some weekends and evenings

EMPLOYEE EVALUATION PROCESS: Student employees will be evaluated by their supervisor at the end of Fall and Spring semesters.
