Paid Fall 2026 PR Internship

ECPR Texas offers internship positions each semester to college juniors, seniors or recent college graduates majoring in public relations, digital media or a related field. 

Interns are expected to work between 10-15 hours a week during the business hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. (Specific hours and corresponding weekdays will be finalized when the internship positions are filled.) Interns are also required to work at the ECPR Texas office. 

Our interns are paid $15/hr and work alongside our account staff on challenging assignments and client work, performing such tasks as creating media lists, coordinating research projects, providing event assistance, monitoring and clipping media coverage, developing social media content, conduct digital audits, writing and editing press materials and more.

Ideal candidates will have either public relations, marketing or digital media classes, strong writing or digital skills, be familiar with Associated Press (AP) writing style, and most importantly, have a can-do attitude!

Candidates must complete an online application and include a resume and cover letter. Additionally, a professional letter of recommendation or a letter from a college professor is strongly encouraged.
