Zoo Knoxville Internships
Interns at Zoo Knoxville gain hands-on experience by supporting our teams with the day-to-day operations of a modern zoological organization. A successful zoo relies on diverse, skilled professionals working together to advance wildlife conservation, inspire public engagement, and support research involved in the advancement of these two aims. This program is designed to give interns meaningful exposure to these efforts while developing practical workplace skills and professional confidence.
We offer internships across a variety of tracks, including Animal Care, Grounds and Horticulture, Education and Conservation, Marketing and Advancement, and Administrative, each providing students and emerging professionals with hands-on experience, opportunities to build professional skills, develop industry connections, and gain insight into a wide range of careers within the zoo field.
