About the Opportunity
1-800-Flowers.com, Inc. is looking for a highly motivated MBA candidate or recent graduate to join our Enterprise Analytics & Insights team for a 10-week consulting-style project focused on business analytics, reporting transformation, and data-driven decision making.
This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside leadership and cross-functional teams to analyze business performance, develop reporting solutions, and deliver actionable insights that support strategic business decisions across the organization.
The ideal candidate is analytical, curious, business-minded, and excited to work on high-impact projects within a fast-paced eCommerce environment.
What You’ll Be Working On
- Analyze business performance across key KPIs such as Revenue, Conversion, AOV, and ROAS
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through data analysis and reporting
- Build and refine dashboards and reporting tools to improve visibility into business performance
- Support the transition from manual reporting processes to automated, self-service analytics solutions
- Partner with stakeholders across the business to translate questions into analytical approaches and actionable insights
- Work closely with merchandising and business teams to provide product performance insights
- Assist with process improvements and workflow optimization initiatives
- Develop presentations, executive summaries, and recommendations for leadership
- Present findings and strategic recommendations at the conclusion of the engagement
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing an MBA or other postgraduate business degree preferred; recent graduates encouraged to apply
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with business analysis, analytics, consulting projects, or reporting
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Ability to communicate complex data and insights clearly to stakeholders
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced project environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Tableau, Power BI, SQL, or other reporting/visualization tools
- Exposure to KPI reporting, business intelligence, or performance analytics
- Previous internship, consulting, analytics, or strategy experience
- Experience working with dashboards, data visualization, or process improvement initiatives
