About the Brand
Forget "sweet." We are Tamalitoz. We are a bold, Austin-based candy brand that’s taking over the snack aisle with a rebellious spirit. Our motto is "Call Me Hot, Not Sweet." We’ve taken the tradition of Mexican ribbon candy and turned it into a high-fashion, spicy experience. From Whole Foods to Wegmans, we are growing fast, and we need a fierce team to lead our "Flavor Revolution."
The Role
As a Brand Ambassador, you are the face of the "Hot Not Sweet" movement. This isn't your average "sample lady" gig. You’ll be at high-energy retail events and demos, engaging with customers, and blowing their minds with our unique flavor profiles (think chili-lime, tamarind, and pineapple).
What you’ll be doing:
Driving Trial: Handing out samples and telling the Sugarox story.
Mastering the "Hook": Engaging customers with our brand story—from our roots in advertising to our handcrafted candy studio.
Creating a Vibe: Setting up a "Met Gala worthy" demo table that stands out in a crowded store.
Reporting: Taking quick "Raw & Real" photos of the event and tracking how many bags we moved.
Who You Are
The "Hype" Person: You aren't afraid to walk up to a stranger and ask, "Are you ready for a candy that actually has a kick?"
Reliable: You’ve got your own transport to get to retail locations around Austin/Buda.
Foodie/Trendsetter: You understand why Mexican candy is a global vibe and you know how to sell it.
Professional with a Twist: You can handle the logistics of a demo while maintaining a bold, fun personality.
Requirements
Must be 18+ and currently enrolled in a college/university.
Ability to stand for 3-4 hours and carry a demo kit (approx. 20 lbs).
Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Bonus: If you’re a Marketing or Communications major, we love people who understand brand strategy!
