About the Role
Interpreters on Demand is looking for detail-oriented contractors to record business meetings and produce accurate notes and transcripts. This is a project-based role with assignments across various cities.
Responsibilities
- Set up and test audio equipment at least 5 minutes before meeting start; remind speakers they are being recorded.
- Take organized, detailed notes throughout each meeting, accurately attributing comments to the correct speaker.
- Upload audio files and submit completed notes within 24 hours of meeting conclusion.
- Log all hours including setup/takedown time (.50 hr. administrative time) with start and end times.
- Participate in initial and ongoing training on equipment and note-taking procedures.
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and excellent written communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and deadline-driven.
- Comfortable with audio equipment (training provided).
- Business casual dress required; professional demeanor at all times.
Compensation & Payment
- $18.50–$25.00/hr. based on experience and quality of work.
- Hours vary; project based, as needed.
- Invoices processed within 30 days after deliverables are approved and equipment is returned.
