Summer 2026 | Support Services - ID Card Office Summer Orientation Assistant
Summer Orientation Regular Wage & Work-Study Position
We are seeking reliable and customer-focused candidates to support our department during New Student Orientation (NSO). This position requires availability Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide front-line customer service to students, families, and campus visitors
- Assist with processing student ID cards
- Answer and direct phone calls in a professional manner
- Perform campus-wide errands, including pickups and deliveries
- Support ID distribution during NSO check-out
Qualifications:
- Strong verbal communication skills, both in person and over the phone
- Ability to navigate campus efficiently for assigned tasks
- Demonstrated strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Dependable, punctual, courteous, and honest

Employee Evaluation Process
Student employees are evaluated by their supervisor at the end of each long semester.
Pay rate Determination
All student employees begin at the starting pay rate and may increase by .25 after two long semesters (fall and spring) of employment with a positive evaluation from their supervisor using the Student Employee Career Readiness Evaluation form.
