Traffic Engineering Intern

In this role, you’ll gain key hands-on experience by supporting our engineering team through every stage of the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with engineers and designers to assist in developing and implementing traffic engineering projects.

Assist in preparing detailed engineering drawings, plans, and specifications using industry-standard software and tools.

Conduct site visits and field investigations to gather data and assess project requirements.

Assist in analyzing traffic patterns, volume data, and other relevant information to develop effective design solutions.

Support the team in preparing technical reports and project documentation.

Key Competencies:

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies.

Interest in working on innovative projects involving transportation planning, traffic operations, signal/lighting/intersection design, and ITS.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships.

MS Word, Excel, AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.

Job Qualifications:

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Civil Engineering program.
