ALL QUESTIONS SHOULD BE DIRECTED TOWARDS: us.hiring@micro-agi.com
About Us
MicroAGI is an AI lab pioneering the next generation of robotics. We partner with businesses, paying their teams to film the real-world tasks that teach robots how to operate. In March 2026, we paid out $5M+ to 10k+ operators in 12+ countries. As one of Europe's premier robotics startups, we have partnerships with $1T+ tech firms, and are expanding heavily in the United States.
The Role
Help us bring robots closer to the real world. We're looking for a sales rep to build partnerships with construction companies and general contractors across the U.S. The target list includes home builders, residential framing crews, remodeling contractors, commercial general contractors, excavation and grading companies, steel erection firms, heavy civil contractors, concrete contractors, roofing companies, and demolition crews. The job is finding the right companies, getting in front of site supervisors, project managers, and business owners, and onboarding partners whose laborers, carpenters, framers, roofers, masons, and heavy equipment operators do the kind of physical work that produces valuable robotics training data. This role will directly shape how MicroAGI breaks into the construction and building trades industry.
What You'll Do
- Scout and qualify B2B leads across the construction sector, including home builders, residential and commercial general contractors, remodeling companies, excavation and grading crews, concrete and foundation contractors, steel erection firms, roofing companies, demolition contractors, site preparation crews, paving and asphalt companies, and heavy civil construction firms
- Run outreach campaigns through LinkedIn, Apollo.io, cold email, cold calling, and in-person visits targeting business owners, project managers, site superintendents, construction managers, and estimators
- Build and maintain relationships with general contractors, subcontractor leads, construction foremen, project coordinators, and referral contacts across residential and commercial building
- Take calls, run meetings, and handle end-to-end onboarding of new construction partners and data collection participants
- Coordinate headset logistics and participant operations across active job sites, fabrication yards, and contractor offices
- Keep the CRM tight by tracking pipeline activity across general contracting, residential building, and commercial construction leads, flagging opportunities, and helping build the sales playbook for the construction vertical
- Get out in the field with flyers at building supply yards, lumber yards, equipment rental shops, and contractor meetups, and represent Shift at construction trade shows and industry expos
What You'll Need
- No hesitation around cold outreach, whether that's phone calls, emails, DMs, or showing up at a job site trailer and starting a conversation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially when explaining something new to people who haven't heard of it before
- Self-directed and organized, comfortable working without being micromanaged
- Interest in AI, robotics, construction technology, or the future of work is a plus but not required
- Experience with CRM tools like GoHighLevel or Apollo is helpful, but willingness to learn is enough
- Familiarity with general contracting, residential or commercial construction, building trades, site work, or the construction industry is a bonus
