Supply Chain Intern - Semiconductor Start Up

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Supply Chain Intern to support supply chain and procurement activities within the semiconductor industry. This role will focus on reviewing and improving supply chain processes and procedures, as well as assisting with procurement work that supports semiconductor engineering, manufacturing, and operations. This internship is well suited for a sophomore- or junior-level student interested in gaining hands-on experience in supply chain operations within a fast-paced, technology-driven semiconductor environment.

The intern will work closely with supply chain, procurement, engineering, and operations teams to help document workflows, support purchasing activities, and ensure materials and services are available to support semiconductor development and production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review, document, and help improve supply chain processes and standard operating procedures related to semiconductor operations
  • Assist with procurement activities, including purchase order creation, tracking, and supplier follow-up
  • Support supplier data management, including pricing, lead times, and part information for semiconductor-related materials and services
  • Help analyze purchasing, lead time, and inventory data to identify risks or improvement opportunities
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams to align procurement processes with semiconductor program needs
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and special projects within the supply chain organization
  • Maintain accurate and well-organized documentation for procedures, workflows, and procurement activities

Required Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
  • Sophomore or Junior academic standing
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other standard office tools
  • Ability to follow defined processes while identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Interest in or coursework related to the semiconductor industry, electronics manufacturing, or high-tech supply chains
  • Familiarity with ERP or purchasing systems (Odoo preferred)
  • Experience with process documentation, flowcharts, or standard operating procedures
  • Basic data analysis or reporting experience
  • Interest in manufacturing, hardware, or technology-driven environments
