Job Description:
The Meadows Center is looking for an experienced and reliable individual with excellent customer service skills to work in our Ticket Kiosk. Job Duties including but not limited to selling glass-bottom boat tickets, answering phones, coordinating boat tour times, checking in groups, gift shop sales, other related duties.
Qualifications
Applicants must have work-study. It is recommended that applicants have previous cash handling experience and phone skills. Applicants must have superior interpersonal skills including dependability, responsibility, motivation, time management, organization, excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow directions.
Schedule
Applicants must be available to work 2-3 morning or afternoon shifts during the week and one weekend shift.

Job Duties
- Managing a cash register and being responsible for the safety of the cash fund
- Selling Glass-bottom boat tickets and checking in groups
- Answering phones
- Coordinating park operations with boat sales
- Working in our gift shop and helping with inventory
- Offering great customer service to our guests
- Being part of a team
- Additional assigned duties from your manager
Location
Please note our location: http://www.meadowscenter.txstate.edu/About/Contact-Us.html. Students driving their vehicle to work must have a Texas State parking permit. Students without a vehicle must have a reliable method of getting to work. Students may utilize the Bobcat Shuttle Route 23 - Post Road. The bus stop is located at the main entrance of The Meadows Center.
Employee Evaluation Process
Employees will be evaluated on their work output and ethic. Employees will be required to attend all scheduled shifts unless prior communication has been made with their direct supervisor. All employees are required to follow university policy and procedures.
Pay Rate Determination
This pay rate of this position begins at $11. Experience may result in a higher rate if deemed appropriate by the Spring Lake Management.
Direct Supervisor
This position is directly supervised by the Spring Lake Education Program Manager and the Deputy Director of Spring Lake Education of the Meadows Center.
